How to find and fire the reCAPTCHA callback

The callback is usually named in the widget's data-callback attribute, for example data-callback="myCallbackFunction". If the widget is built in JavaScript instead, look for the callback property passed to grecaptcha.render(). When neither is visible you can read it straight off the reCAPTCHA config object in the browser console at ___grecaptcha_cfg.clients[0].aa.l.callback, remembering that the aa.l path varies between pages and that a page with several widgets will have clients[1], clients[2] and so on to check. Once you know the name, solving is two steps: write the CapSkip token into the g-recaptcha-response field, then call the callback, passing the token as its argument if it expects one. Why does my token not work when there is no submit button?
Because setting g-recaptcha-response only stores the answer; it does not tell the page that verification succeeded. The page is waiting on its callback, so you have to run the callback yourself after injecting the token.
How do I find the reCAPTCHA callback function?
Check the data-callback attribute on the widget first, then the callback property passed to grecaptcha.render(). Failing both, inspect ___grecaptcha_cfg.clients[0].aa.l.callback in the browser console, and check clients[1] and beyond if the page has more than one widget.
Do I need to pass the token to the callback?
Often yes. Many callbacks accept the solved token as their only argument, so calling myCallbackFunction(token) is the safe default. Some take no argument at all, in which case calling it bare is enough.
